Modern Slavery Statement
AIIMS Group Pty Ltd | ABN 80 152 467 224
Financial Year 2024/2025
Our Position
AIIMS Group has zero tolerance for modern slavery in any form. This includes forced labour, human trafficking, debt bondage, and exploitative working conditions. We are committed to conducting business ethically and expect the same of every partner, supplier, and contractor we work with.
Who We Are
AIIMS Group is a marketing, media production, and technology company with operations in Australia and the United Arab Emirates. Our team is made up of skilled professionals across digital marketing, design, web development, content production, and client strategy. We also work with freelancers, contractors, and third-party providers in both regions.
Where Risk Exists in Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain spans:
- Technology platforms and cloud infrastructure providers
- Freelance and contract creative talent (design, video, photography, copywriting)
- Studio equipment and office suppliers
- Print and merchandise production
- Professional services (legal, accounting, recruitment)
- Influencer and media partnerships
- Facilities services (cleaning, security, maintenance)
While the digital services industry carries a lower inherent risk profile than sectors like manufacturing or agriculture, we recognise that modern slavery risks can still emerge, particularly in:
- Offshore freelance and contractor engagements where labour protections may be weaker
- Hardware and data centre supply chains underpinning the technology platforms we rely on
- Print, promotional merchandise, and physical production where subcontracting layers can obscure conditions
- Facilities and building services at our offices and studio
What We Do About It
Due diligence on suppliers: We assess modern slavery risk when onboarding new suppliers and review existing relationships on an ongoing basis. Priority is given to higher-risk categories including offshore contractors and physical goods suppliers.
Clear contractual terms: Our supplier and contractor agreements include provisions requiring compliance with applicable modern slavery legislation and ethical labour standards.
Fair employment practices: Every person working for or with AIIMS Group is engaged under transparent, fair terms. We pay above award rates, provide clear working conditions, and never withhold pay, documents, or freedom of movement.
Reporting channels: We maintain confidential channels for any team member, contractor, or external party to report concerns about exploitative practices without fear of retaliation.
Leadership accountability: Our directors and senior management are responsible for overseeing compliance with this statement and ensuring it is reflected in how we operate day to day.
How We Measure Progress
We assess the effectiveness of our approach by:
- Reviewing supplier compliance annually, with deeper audits for higher-risk categories
- Tracking any concerns raised through our internal reporting channels
- Evaluating our freelancer and contractor engagement practices, particularly for offshore arrangements
- Updating our risk assessment as the business grows into new markets and service areas
What Comes Next
AIIMS Group continues to expand across Australia, the UAE, and New Zealand. As we grow, so does the complexity of our supply chain. We are committed to evolving our approach: strengthening due diligence, improving transparency with our partners, and ensuring that the people who contribute to our work are treated with dignity and respect at every level.
This is not a box-ticking exercise. It reflects who we are and how we choose to operate.
