Market Context

Australia became a serious growth market for Swiss tourism.

Australian interest in Switzerland accelerated in 2025–2026, particularly around rail travel and off-season visitation. The campaign launched directly into this demand window, with creative and media architecture built to capture Australian travellers considering premium European travel.

The strategy was not just to advertise Switzerland. It was to commercialise an existing market movement and make Ormina Tours visible while that intent was rising.

The Brief

Make autumn in Switzerland feel urgent, premium and worth booking.

Ormina Tours needed to position Switzerland’s autumn season as a must-do luxury travel experience for the Australian market. The challenge was the seasonality. Autumn is a narrow window, so the creative had to land quickly, reach the right audience and move people from inspiration to enquiry before interest peaked.

Deliverables

Meta Ads, YouTube promotions, creative strategy and lead generation.

Campaign Strategy

Every platform had a job. Every creative had a purpose.

AIIMS structured the campaign as a full funnel. YouTube and Reels created volume, regional storytelling built intent, and instant lead forms removed friction when the traveller was ready to enquire.

01 · Top of Funnel

Mass awareness through Meta Reels and YouTube promotions, designed to make Switzerland visible at scale.

02 · Mid Funnel

Regional destination storytelling across Zurich, Jungfrau and Geneva to move audiences from inspiration into intent.

03 · Bottom of Funnel

Meta Instant Forms captured leads directly inside the platform, removing landing-page drop-off.

Campaign Results

High-volume attention with commercial lead capture.

The campaign delivered the right blend of awareness and conversion. YouTube created the attention base. Meta produced reach, engagement and leads. Together, the platforms built a measurable travel funnel rather than disconnected media activity.

Campaign Deployment

Three campaign layers working as one system.

Each campaign had a defined commercial role: awareness, regional intent and lead capture. This gave AIIMS clearer optimisation paths and allowed the campaign to scale without becoming messy.

Why It Worked

It did not rely on one ad. It relied on infrastructure.

The campaign worked because each layer had a clear job, the creative matched the traveller’s stage of intent, and the lead capture mechanism removed friction. This is where AIIMS’ infrastructure model matters: creative, media, funnel and reporting all working together.

01

Premium audience targeting

Built around Australian travellers with the means and intent for long-haul luxury travel.

02

Destination-led creative

Switzerland was not presented generically. Zurich, Jungfrau and Geneva each had a role in the story.

03

Low-friction conversion

Instant Forms converted interest inside Meta without asking users to leave the platform.

04

Cross-platform amplification

YouTube created scale and watch time while Meta converted attention into engagement and leads.

“This campaign proves what happens when premium creative, audience timing and funnel infrastructure are aligned. Switzerland already had demand. AIIMS helped turn that demand into measurable digital performance.”
