How We Made the Nike P-6000 Snakeskin Film | AIIMS Group
Creative production / Independent concept film

An idea that would not sit stillProduction · Direction · Post

THE SHOE
IN MOTION.

How a spontaneous idea became a high energy Nike P-6000 Snakeskin film, built from texture, movement, light and sound.

THE SHOE WAS THE STORY.

Make every detail feel bigger than life. Keep everything moving. Never lose the shoe.

Producer Josu Atxucarro Walter came across a Nike commercial directed by Darius while scrolling Instagram. Its close-up camera work and handheld filters sparked an idea: make a shoe film with its own raw, tactile energy.

The Nike P-6000 Snakeskin gave the concept a focal point. The team planned the shots, picked up the shoes at JD Sports and began shooting. What followed was an exercise in turning a distinctive surface into a complete visual language.

Show what makes this shoe different — up close, in motion, and impossible to ignore.

PRESS PLAY.
FEEL IT.

Texture becomes tension. Motion becomes the transition. Sound effects carry the emotion. Watch the finished Nike P-6000 film, then see how the shots came together below.

DETAIL
WORTH CHASING.

The P-6000 has the layered form and visible detail to reward a close look. The snakeskin finish in this pair gave the macro lens something to explore. Instead of treating the shoe as a static product, the team used its pattern, silhouette and Nike marks as material for the edit.

The side Swoosh, tongue branding and layers of the upper became visual anchors. The camera could move tightly across the shoe, reveal only a fragment, then pull back and give the viewer the whole shape.

A FILM BUILT
TO MOVE.

01 / CAMERA

GET CLOSER.

Macro photography put the snakeskin pattern in the foreground and made the shoe’s surface feel cinematic.

02 / TRANSITIONS

BEND THE FRAME.

Handheld lens filters and motion blur created effects in camera that could carry one shot into the next.

03 / LIGHT

SWEEP THROUGH.

Chris moved a light across the model’s face to create a dramatic sweep, echoing the movement in the camera.

04 / SOUND

DRIVE THE FEELING.

Sound effects shaped the rhythm and emotion of the edit without letting a music track overpower the film.

05 / ANIMATION

PUSH IT FURTHER.

Victor developed the animation that takes the piece beyond the live-action footage.

06 / COLOUR

MAKE IT HIT.

Chris and the team refined a stylised colour grade with depth, contrast and a distinctive finish.

HOW IT
HAPPENED.

No drawn-out production cycle. A strong creative spark, a shoe with character, a small team and a clear idea about how the final film should feel.

01

THE SPARK

An Instagram commercial inspired a different way to shoot a shoe: intimate macro frames and optical effects made by hand.

02

THE FIND

The Nike P-6000 Snakeskin became the subject. Josu mapped out the shots, bought the pair at JD Sports and got the team shooting.

03

THE SHOOT

Macro detail, handheld filters, blur and sweeping light gave the edit its visual material while the shoe stayed central.

04

THE FINISH

Sound design set the pace. Victor’s animation and the colour grade developed with Chris completed the look.

The creative behind the film

JOSU
ATXUCARRO
WALTER.

Josu saw the potential in a shoe’s smallest details and turned a spontaneous purchase into a complete film. His approach joined hands-on camera techniques with a sound-led edit, giving the piece its restless pace and strong visual identity.

A final word from the film

STOP
OVERTHINKING.
GO FILM
SOMETHING.

Creative work starts when somebody decides to make the idea real. This one began with a shoe, a camera and a team ready to move.
