Andrew Schulz Took Over the AIIMS Creator Hub Studio
Andrew Schulz Took Over the AIIMS Creator Hub Studio
One of comedy’s biggest names walked into our Strathfield South studios. Here’s what happened.
There are sessions that remind you why you built the thing.
Andrew Schulz in the studio was one of them.
The Netflix stand-up, Flagrant podcast host and one of the most talked-about voices in global comedy walked into the AIIMS Creator Hub this week, and the energy was exactly what you would expect: loud, fast, genuinely funny, and almost impossible to keep a straight face through.
Safe to say, the team passed the vibe check.
Who Is Andrew Schulz?
If you need a quick brief: Andrew Schulz is a New York-based comedian, actor and podcaster who has built one of the most loyal and outspoken fanbases in entertainment. He hosts the Flagrant podcast alongside Akaash Singh and co-hosts The Brilliant Idiots with Charlamagne Tha God.
His 2022 self-distributed special Infamous pulled over 20 million views on YouTube, and his Netflix special Life cemented his status as a major force in comedy. The New York Times called him “America’s Foremost Political Journalist” — in the most Andrew Schulz way possible. He sells out arenas. And yes, he came to Strathfield South.
What Went Down in the Studio?
We are not going to give everything away. What we can tell you is that the session ran through Andrew’s signature monologue style, the room had absolutely zero chill, and our team learnt very quickly that a poker face is a skill none of us have been practising nearly enough.
The AIIMS Creator Hub team worked alongside Andrew to set up a session built for the kind of content his audience expects: punchy, authentic, high-energy, and made for the internet. The result was a studio experience that matched the energy he brings to every performance.
This is the kind of session our podcast studios in Sydney were built for.

The Andrew Schulz session is a good example of how the Creator Hub works at its best: a talent walks in with a concept, we shape the environment and the production around it, and something genuinely great comes out the other side.
That applies to far more than comedy sessions.
We work with individual creators, brands, agencies, and talent teams. If you have an idea — even a rough one — that is a perfectly good place to start a conversation.
